Wild Work Farm in Keene Valley, NY

Farmers, join CCE Essex and Adirondack Harvest us for a tour of Wild Work Farm in Keene Valley, NY. Lissa Goldstein and her team run a diverse, small vegetable and fruit farm on 3 acres nestled in the High Peaks. Wild Work products are sold in farmers' markets, CSA, and online ordering, as well as wholesale venues, such as restaurants and co-ops. This interactive tour will include a field and greenhouse walk and cover the wash-and-pack facility. Following the tour, then share a locally-sourced meal together.

This retreat will include hands-on service learning, introductory lessons about farming as a career, and opportunities to connect with a wide range of agriculture professionals from the Hudson Valley region. Sky High Farm Grant Opportunity for awards up to $25,000

Sky High will make at least $350,000 in grants (total) to individuals working in agriculture, food justice, and/or land sovereignty. Applications will be prioritized among those who identify as Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex and Asexual, and those working in communities historically exploited and harmed by the existing industrial agricultural system.
