Condition & Current Use

We have 120 acres of mixed certified organic acreage (currently about 40 acres), woods, marsh, creek, pond and meadow. There is a conservation easement on 105 acres. The big vision would be 4-5 individuals or families living on this land, creating a sustainable community, using the land in a good way and perhaps creating some cottage industry. Maple sugaring possible.

Approximately 60 acres tillable, some now in hay, some in Christmas trees being sold wholesale and as cut your own, about 40 acres leased to a local organic dairy farmer. Currently home for a 501c3 not for profit (www.crowfieldsanctuary.org). No farm buildings, but there is a pavilion, Adirondack style lean to near the pond and a "cook shack" which has been used to serve up to 200 people. Open to many possibilities, don't really want to sell this land to the local grain farmer. Not ready to sell at this time.
