Condition & Current Use

A certified organic salad greens operation was run for four years on 5,400 ft2 of permanent beds (24 beds, 30" wide, 90' long).  The farm has one high-tunnel (30X96') that was used for year-round production with row covers (there is no heat), and two 30X96' growing areas outdoors.  A wash/pack hoop house is adjacent with infrastructure for rinsing and packing greens, including: 100 gallon bubble rinse station, washing machine spinner, two large refrigerators, small freezer, storage shelves, hand-washing sink, and stainless steel tables.  There is a small propagation area in the wash/pack.  A small Coolbot trailer was used for short cooling periods.

The farm and land are currently not in use, but the owners will be building a house in the coming years and planting an orchard in one of the present fields.
