Condition & Current Use

Field is not currently being used, but is cleared and ready for use! 13 acres of flat land surrounded on 3 sides by woods. It has not been used for farming purposes in 40-50 years so it could be certified organic. It has been mowed annually to keep the land open. Soil test information can be found linked at the bottom of the profile.

For Lease

Short term lease to start. There is an option to extend the lease and expand production onto more land for the right person. We are looking to work with farmers who have at least 1-2 seasons of farm management experience. Eventually we would like to qualify for the agricultural assessments so we prefer to work with farmers who are able to qualify immediately or in 2 years after the farm is established.

Are you willing to mentor a new or beginning farmer?
