Property Description

Description of the property’s current condition and current use(s):

Property is mostly wooded with about 5 acres open. About 15 years ago the original owner had about 2 acres in vegetable production. That land is still open and there is an additional 3 acres that are open where livestock was. 3 acres partially fenced they used to graze and is sloping. Barn on the site is pretty run down and likely not salvageable, but there is a well house right next to it for water access and an chicken coop nearby that could be saved.  The barn once housed goats and chicken. The rest of the land is wooded and park like. The wooded area has been untouched for 100+ years.

Farm history / past uses of the property:

Land has not been actively farmed for about 15 years. Before then it was a hobby farm with veggies and some small livestock.

Description of tenure options:

Ideally seeking a farmer partner to help launch an agri-tourism business in the future. Landowners are in the hospitality business and would like to turn the large home on the property into a wedding venue. Opportunity for a farmer to tap into an agri-tourism opportunity if they wanted once the venue was in business. Would also consider a straight lease. Housing may be an option for the right farmer.
