Condition & Current Use

Approximately 10 acres of open area is available to lease. There is an operating CSA (veg, fruit, flower) operating on the remaining acres. Incoming farmer would have to abide by sustainable, regenerative, or organic methods/practice. Farming landowner is willing to offer some mentorship to an incoming farmer. This available acres has been actively farmed until this year. It has been cropped in corn/soy rotation (2021 = soy). A portion of the acreage is lower/wetter for a good part of spring.

No production preferences. Only concern is that the farmer be using organic methods of production.  There is not any infrastructure for livestock, but no concerns with having portable infrastructure if that was part of a new farmers business.

We are hooked up to public water. Incoming farmer would have to invest in irrigation to that field if needed for their production. Some irrigation is run to the fields the landowner is producing on already. 

Barns for Equipment/Storage

3000 square foot barn in mediocre condition. A portion of the barn could be negotiated into the lease for storage if needed.
