Property was previously a golf course approximately 10 years ago. Total acreage is approximately 140 acres open and wooded. There are ponds and streams. About 20 acres of the property has been leveled and the golf infrastructure has been removed. There is a underground irrigation in some parts of property fed from the large 1 acre pond. Existing diesel pump on site but has not ran in 10 plus years. With some maintenance may be usable again. Property has amazing access from 2 parallel roads. Some of the total acreage has been brush hogged and some has now gone to brush. No fencing. Existing barn (approximately 40x60) used for storage (concrete floor) electric and water are accessible but need lines ran.
Landowner does plan to utilize some of the property surrounding the home for a wedding venue and for their own production plans. Would love to have a diverse farm on the property with some amenities that would compliment their plans for the land.

We are ideally seeking a farmer(s) who share an interest in our plan to have the land be a diversified and productive farm. We are managing a portion of the property (approx. 10-15 acres) for our personal goal to have a wedding venue and some small personal production. It would be ideal to partner or work with someone who is interested in managing a larger portion of the property and ideally we could partner on a production type that may add value to the venue. Such as flowers, vegetables, micro-greens, hops, vineyard, etc. We are open and flexible to other ideas that would work for the land. Ultimately we are also hoping to qualify the land for the NYS Ag Assessment. To start we are considering short term arrangements of 1-5 years. Review at lease end to determine longer tenure.

Open to ideas for what could work on the land. We do not have a lot of infrastructure for animals so we recognize that may prevent some forms of production. We are open to livestock on the property and things like fencing, greenhouses, irrigation being built on the property. We would love to see a diverse farm! Have an interest in bees, greenhouse production, vegetables, fruits, micro-greens, hops, vineyard, barely, and hemp among many other things. Happy to chat to see what would work on the land.

A good portion of the old fairway has been regularly brush hogged and is ready to be utilized. There is some areas that have not been maintained and have shrubs and small trees growing. Also some woods located on the property that are available.
