Tenure Options
The lease price for this property is $2000 per month with a two month escrow. The housing consists of a 900sqft, two bedroom apartment on the bottom floor of a stand alone house. It includes all utilities, laundry facilities, internet access, yearly mowing of all fields and snow removal.
The owner will maintain separate access to the house basement and attic. In the attic there is an efficiency suite where the owner who lives in Tennessee will occasionally stay.
The lease also includes access to the 24X36 barn, with two 12’x12’ stalls for livestock.
To qualify the renter must earn $50K or greater from a non-farming income source and agree to a credit check. This is not enough land to produce an income, it would be more for an individual, couple or family who is interested in homesteading and having a few farm animals.
The lease would allow use of the land for vegetable or flower gardening as well as livestock grazing.
Looking for a long term lease, 5+ years, though shorter terms are negotiable. Not an option to buy at this time.

My ideal hobby farmer / homesteader would be an animal lover. Preferably either keeping goats for milking, alpacas, chickens, or two horses. No meat or cannabis production please. There are two 12X12 horse stalls in the small 24X36 barn. The additional small shed is used by the owner.
Also the property manager has contacts for animal “babysitting”.
There are three approximately one acre fields that could be used to grow vegetables, berry bushes, or flowers. But no fencing there. All fields could be easily electric fenced.

We will not tolerate clutter or trash on property. If tenant has equipment that does not fit in barn will need to find solution with landlord. Household trash pickup will be provided. Composting site must be pre-approved by landlord. No more than two registered cars on property, absolutely no unregistered vehicles.
All chemicals and additives used on the property must first be approved by landlord.
