This property has been used for the past 14 years to raise sheep and beef cattle as well as pastured poultry and pigs. Approximately 65 acres has been rotationally pastured in that time. The property was vacant land prior to our purchase. In addition, for the same 14 years, the owner has operated a very successful dog boarding business on this property.

Water access description:
The property has a pond that is approximately 1 acre in size. The pond is at a higher elevation so as to allow for providing water throughout the property to support the rotational grazing activities.
There is a 50' x 60' pole barn in place with water and electric permanantly available. Several paddocks are established with heated water fountains in place. There are also numerous sheds on the property to support operations. We have used Port-A-Huts (moveable quanset huts) for portable housing for the animals.
Farmer housing description:
A 42' x 72' building provides for very comfortable housing as well as a well respected dog boarding kennel. There are provision for 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. A small efficiency apartment is also included. The property is in a municipality with a small electric department so that electric rates/costs are very reasonable. There is an outdoor woodburning furnace in place. The heat in living quarters is radiant heat in the floor with a heat pump in place for heat and air conditioning.
