Property Description
Soil types:
Description of the property’s current condition and current use(s):
Currently growing on approx 8 acres, including a 1-1/2 acre hops yard. Most of the acreage is populated with fruit trees, berry bushes, and Xmas trees. I also have a vegetable garden and a berry bush garden. The property also has huge foraging potential with wild nut trees, lots of wild edible mushrooms, and many varities of wild berries. The property also has a pond and wetlands areas that are suitable for aquaponics and other agricultural uses. The long-range plan is to build a brewery with a food operation and to host farm weddings. I want to utilize as much of what naturally occurs along with what we might be consciously growing. I very much want to find a farming partner that would establish and manage an indoor mushroom-growing operation, tapping maple trees for sap to produce syrup, and beekeeping for honey and the production of fruited meads for sale in the brewery. The opportunities are endless. Do not hesitate to contact the owner with an idea for a new venture that would work with what is currently happening on the property.
You can view the soil and topography map attached to the bottom of this profile for more details!
Farm history / past uses of the property:
Unclear on past history. Soils were tested prior to my purchase of the property in 2011 and the soil is clean and excellent for most agricultural uses.

Various structures are on site, including a huge barn, an old horse barn, outbuildings, and an 1800 sq ft "industrial garage". We also have various pieces of equipment, including a new 40hp Kubota tractor.
Farmer housing description:
There is a small tenant house on site ideal for an individual or couple.
Crops and Livestock
Types of crops permitted to be produced on the property:
Types of livestock permitted on the property:
Livestock/crops description :
The only limitations on livestock and crops are a function of peacefully co-existing with an existing 18-hole Disc Golf course on-site, the future brewery location, existing infrastructure, and wetlands and woods not suitable for livestock or crops. Really open to any idea a farm manager may have!
Tenure Options
Tenure options:
Description of tenure options:
I am predominanly seeking a Farm Manager / Grounds Manager but this could expand into becoming involved with the brewery and the food operation if desirable by both parties. The opportunity also exists for the prospective "farmer" to design, create, operate, and share in the profits of other revenue centers if we so choose. For example, if the farmer creates and operates a CSA or works with creating and operating a mushrooming operation or beekeeping on site then we could create a partnership agreement associated with those revenue centers.
