The farmer would ideally like to find someone who would like to raise pastured poultry on the farm. Processing equipment and mentoring are available. Grazing sheep is also a possibility, and possibly very small scale, minimum till vegetable production. Our Farm is located just outside the village of Greenwich in Washington County. There is a community of small scale growers in the area including a local National Young Farmers Coalition group. The capital district is about 1 hour drive south providing marketing opportunities, as well as Saratoga Springs (30 minutes) and local farmers markets. Housing in not available on the farm, but could be found locally.
