Condition & Current Use

There is roughly 9 acres of open land we are looking to make avaialble to a farmer. The land is mostly flat and well drained. Slight slop near the top half of the property. This portion that is farthest from the road is a bit rocky and there are some apple trees in this area.

Soil Types

All soils of statewide importance for farming: Mardin gravelly silt loam (MdB), Bath gravelly silt loam (BgC), and Volusia gravelly silt loam (VoC). See attached soils report for more details. Property boundary is no exact.

Farm History & Past Use

There was an apple orchard on the property that was removed in the mid 90s. There are just a few trees that remain from the orchard, but they haven't been maintained.

Production Preferences

Livestock / Crops Description

Open on what could reasonably be produced on the land. Prefer crops and small livestock as that is likely what is best suited to land. There are vineyards in the surrounding area as well some sheep/goat and poultry farms. Fair amount of farms in the area so we believe it is pretty ag friendly.
