We operated a small-scall, highly-diversified organic farm called Root 'N Roost Farm for 15 years, converting two small parcels into a farmstead using hand-only organic techniques to grow vegetables, fruits, nuts, mushrooms (shiitake & lionsmane), maple syrup from the forest sugarbush, and raised chickens (layers and broilers), ducks (layers and broilers), turkeys (small batches for Thanksgiving), and pigs (in the back woods, pens & fencing has been taken down and cleaned up). The plantings remain across both properties, a chicken coop and several sheds remain, and the greenhouse and food forest remain with many plantings still going strong, though weeding is now needed as we moved in 2025, were back in 2026 to continue upgrades and clean up for property sale readiness. We have plant maps of the properties and are happy to share all the information we have about the house and properties.

We have left behind an EGO zero-turn 52" electric lawn mower with 6 batteries and charger, Milwaukee electric string trimmer with two batteries and charger, Ego leaf blower, 2.5 gallon power washer, and many hand tools in the greenhouse, wheel barrel, greenhouse shade cover and new plastic to re-sheath the greenhouse.
