There is an orchard on the property, with about nine different varieties of apples: Macintosh, Golden Delicious, Gala, Honeycrisp, Grannysmith, Cortland, and some others; 3 varieties of Pears, Bartlett, Kieffer, and Bosc.There's also Cherry trees, Plum Trees, Peach trees, Grape vines, Kiwi and some perennial herbs. No pesticides ever been used, only nutrient added is chicken manure from the property and aged cow manure from surrounding farms. No active argricultural activites on the property.
Farm history / past uses of the property:
According to the previous landlord, "It's always been a homestead, the original owners had cows and a variety of farm animals on it. Last time the property had animals on it was many years ago, our neighbor/caretaker had some dairy cows and horses in the fields behind the barns. The land was primarily used as hayfields. During our ownership, we would brush hog the fields every 3 years to prevent tree saplings from growing.
