This is an agricultural-oriented community.

This 8-acre property may be of modest size, but it would be a great starter/hobby farm, especially if combined with a small modular residence to start. The neighboring property owners began this way, and have since expanded their residence and constructed a huge barn. Additionally, our property is very convenient to numerous recreational activities, such as Long Pond State Forest (2 miles and one turn from the western entrance), with fishing/boating/camping opportunities and winter snowmobile trails, etc.; large tract state hunting grounds nearby; as well as the nearly 4-mile long Whitney Point Lake/Dorchester Recreation Area (over the Broome County border and approximately 6.5 miles south).
