Description of the property’s current condition and current use(s):
We have a large barn with 6 horse stalls, 2 large run-in shelters and 3 fenced in paddocks. We'd like to lease the barn and paddocks to a farmer. Located on the banks of the Hudson river and bordering Saratoga National Battlefield and their horse trails. It is located between the villages of Schuylerville and Stillwater. The 67 acre Wrights Ferry Farm was established in 1792 by Staats Long Morris. The Morris family who have deep ties to New York and the founding of America. Staats' was an American colonist who served as a major-general during the American Revolution. Staats' brother Lewis Morris served as a delegate to the Continental Congress delegate and was an original signer of Declaration of Independence in 1776. Staat's half brother Gouverneur Morris was an author of the United States Constitution. Throughout the years the farm has sustained equine and hay operations. In 2018 the Webber's purchased the farm with hopes of reviving farming operations.
