Farming Status and Plans

Description of farming status, plans, and practices:

Looking for a business partner to start a new farming venture with over the near-term. For the last several years, I've built a career in finance in Manhattan, but am looking for a complete career change. As a result, am looking for a partner with at least some (doesn't need to be much) previous experience in the farming industry that's equally as passionate about farming and also looking for a partnership opportunity.
Prior to my career in finance, I studied Economics at Yale and most of my work / educational experience has been in the realm of business and finance. While I don't have much of a background in agriculture and farming, I am an incredibly hard worker, always hungry to learn, and am looking for a potential partner who is just excited about building and growing a farming business as I am.
Additionally, I am also interested in partnering with existing farms / farmers who are looking to transition ownership / retire over the next few years. I am interested in situations where a retiring owner needs some liqudity toay, but where they'd also be willing to stay on for the next 1-3 years to train me and to ensure a successful transition of their business.
I am a friendly, hard-working guy just looking for an exciting way into the farming industry by partnering with someone equally as energetic and excited about this industry and idea as I am.
