Farming Status and Plans

Description of farming status, plans, and practices:

We-R-Ok Corral Foundation, Inc. is an established 501c3 nonprofit located in the city of Saratoga Spgs. NY.  We are an experiential working ranch and animal assisted therapy farm, and we have outgrown our current property.  Our goal is to rent, lease, or caretake a small to large ranch/farm preferably in Saratoga County, or the surrounding counties.  A property that has established infastructure would be ideal for my current situation, but I am willing to put in some work. Our primary goal is to offer an alternative to the devastating effects of ‘Nature Deficit Disorder’ affecting our youth and communities.

Our "therapists" include 20 Icelandic sheep (9 are newborn lambs), a pair of Mediterranean Miniature Donkeys, a Nigerian Dwarf goat buck, and a pair of hens. And we are planning on adding a therapy horse or 2. Our Facebook page can be accessed under We-R-Ok Corral Foundation, Inc.

Description of marketing method:

Our nonprofit organization is involved with fundraising activities and grantwriting and we also accept donations.
Our executive director is currently a Doctor of Chiropractic and is currently studying Equine Chiropractic
