Description of farming status, plans, and practices:
Zach is looking for property in the Hudson Valley to buy or lease long term for his existing vegetable growing business and to pursue other ag ventures like raising livestock. He would prefer to stay near the northern part of the Hudson Valley (between Albany and Hudson), but is open to other areas if they are the right fit. His ideal property would be 10-50 acres of good tillable vegetable growing soil with housing, outbuildings, and water access. Zach has experience running a market garden for two years and is currently working on a 15 acre, organic farm as an assistant manager.
