Farming Status and Plans

Description of farming status, plans, and practices:

Chuck is searching for a farm that could house his start-up distillery. The plan for 2019 is to find a location and set up the distilling equipment. For this some infrastructure like a solid building, water, and electric are required. The building does not need to be much bigger than a sugar shack in size. In 2020 they would like to grow their own barley and wheat for the distillery (looking into organic). There are a lot of options that could be open to a farmer or landowner for this business. Also open to partnering with a farmer or landowner who has experience growing organic grains for this business.

Farmland Tenure

Tenure options desired:

For Lease, Partnership, For Sale

Description of tenure options desired:

Open to a few options here. Would be interested in purchasing or leasing land from a landowner who has the required infrastructure and location. Another option would be to partner with a farming landowner who has an existing business but has an interest in distilling. Example here would be an orchard, berry farm, or other fruit farm that we could use to infuse in the spirits. The other partnership could be with a farmer who has experience growing barely and wheat grains. Someone with organic experience would be ideal!
