Farming Status and Plans

Description of farming status, plans, and practices:

We are three human rights organizers who would like to have a space to grow and substain our own food. We have a particular interest in restoring native species to the New York ecosystem. Introductions: Hi, I'm Leila - I spent a my years in college at William and Mary working parttime in a greenhouse. I oversaw the move to a new 4000 sq ft greenhouse, and the logistics to keep plants healthy and safe during that transition. Hi, I'm Abby - I am an indigenous organizer who has focused the last years on land defense and restoration of tradition. I have partaken in an amount of enviromental-friendly actions and now I  seek to find a space that could be used and seen with a ceremonious  and substainable purpose. Him I'm River - I am a arts teacher for children who enjoys planting my crops in local NYC gardens to help inner city communities. I organzize food serves with the harvested crops in my free time.
