Farming Status and Plans

Description of farming status, plans, and practices:

Previous experience has been working in the health and wellness field. Dream is to start a non-profit working/wellness farm for Native American women from various reservations in New York state. Although the primary focus will be on the women the goal is to have them heal though crafting. Would love to have a lavender and herb farm on site along with other options for handmade crafts.

Experience description:

I am a retired school social worker, Native American and looking to develop programs for Native Amercan families. I was raised near Lyndonville N.Y. and summer employment was harvesting apples, black/sour cherries and cabbage. I believe integrating both Native philosopy, respect for the land and healing is necessary for Native women.
