Farming Status and Plans
Description of farming status, plans, and practices:
After much consideration, we are looking to make a big change and we would love the opportunity to learn about farming. We currently live in Florida and we are planning a move to New England in June 2020. We would like to rent a home/loft/studio/guesthouse on property which we would also work on. I am a freelance photographer of ten years, and my husband assists me on a very part time basis but has most of his days free. We are 40 and 35 and have a 7 year old son (who has no behavioral issues). My husband would be available pretty much as needed (full time, part time, etc) and I would be available part time. We are very quick learners and hard workers. This does not need to be a paid employment situation, nor are we looking for free lodging. We just want to rent a home and learn to farm. We are looking for a hopefully long term situation, but we are flexible to your needs and would also be interested in something more permanent if the opportunity arises in the future. We are a blank slate as far as farming goes and eager to learn and help. I can also offer professional photography and social media management , which could be very helpful, depending on the situation. We are very aware of the weather differences between there and Florida and we are very much okay with that and looking forward to it. We are ready for this new chapter and so hopeful to find the right partnership to begin our journey!
