Seeking land in the Lower Hudson Valley
Type of farming operation would be dictated by the land being offered as that is one of the premises of Biodynanmics.
Ideal situation would have a mix of crop land, pasture land, forrest with existing pond or water source. Existing infastructure is allways helpfull but not a prerequisite ( Barns, Greenhouse, Dwelling, Equipment)

Crops and Livestock
Primary crops:Vegetables, Fruits, Hay
Description of livestock/crops:
The keeping of livestock would be primarily for fertility and polination. At most a few dairy goats and honey bees, Manures would be composted for field application and used in the production of brewed compost tea. The keeping of livestock is not a prerequsite
Fertility management would consist of biological soil assessment, the production of Biodynamic / biologically assessed compost, the production and application of brewed compost tea and soil drenches. The production and use of Biodynamic field preparations.
Raised Bed Vegetable Production A-Z (5 Acres managed on a 3 year fallow rotation)
Small tree orchard and/or shrub orchard
Forrest mushroom production
Biological soil assessment. Topographic mapping for "Keyline" assessment and "Keyline water conservation plowing. Application of Biodynamic preparations and Biological soil drenches. Rotational grazing and hay.
