Description of farming status, plans, and practices:
Looking to operate an organic dairy farm or organic livestock business
Description of marketing method:
For the dairy farm we would ship our milk commercially for the first few years then slowly move into direct marketing. For the livestock operation we would.like to work with local vendors and restaurants we have connections with and have a small self serve store on site.

Description of buildings required:
The operation will require some building for storage of equipment t and feed for the livestock operation. A barn to house cattle and milking facility with working equipment for the dairy
Description of water access required:
If there is a barn for animal running water in this facility that works year round. For the pastures some hydrants buried year round water would be ideal but it is not a deal breaker
Description of fencing required:
Permanent high tensile or page wire fence would be ideal but we could make do to start with temporary movable fence.
Crops and Livestock
Primary Livestock:Cattle - Beef, Cattle - Dairy, Goats/Sheep, Pigs, Poultry
Description of livestock/crops:
We would like to operate a dairy farm or livestock business the dairy cow numbers would be based on the holding capacity of the land and buildings. If we have a livestock operation it would be a diverse multi species operation with cattle sheep broilers and a few pigs this would also be dependent on the lands capacity.

Description of tenure options desired:
We would live to own aplace outright but that is also a lot of financial risk in the first few years so we are also open to renting or leasing to start with the option to buy or move later down the line.

I have been involved in various agricultural enterprises over the last decade. I went college for agricultural business and dairy management. I am currently working on a large dairy my business partner is currently managing a cattle ranch.
