Farming Status and Plans

Less than 2

Description of farming status, plans, and practices:

I have worked in equine facilities, animal shelters and have attended a course by Roots of Resilience. My plan is to create an animal Healing Place, Rehab and Sanctuary for cats, dogs, horses, whatever comes our way. In addition I will be having chicken and a few goats, and if space allow and there is vicinity to a city/town we’ll have small Country Doggy Camp, a no-kennel dog boarding place and possibly rent out a couple of horse stalls, all to fund the Sanctuary. I am planning to operate holistically/permaculture. If possible/available I’d like to turn the property into Conservation Easement.
