Experience & education:Farm owner, On farm work experience
I (Mary) grew up on a small dairy farm in Holland NY. My husband George started working on a farm in Elma, NY as a kid, and moved to Cuba NY when that dairy merged with a larger dairy. He spent 20+ years as the herdsman, taking care of all aspects of cow management from calving onward. He is currently employed as an AI tech, and I stay at home with our small children. I have owned and managed businesses in the past. We believe with our combined farm and business experience we could bridge the gap on our lack of knowledge and be a welcome asset to a farm who may be looking to phase out of ownership slowly over a period of time.
