Farming Status and Plans
Description of farming status, plans, and practices:
First let me start by saying that I enjoy growing things and I am what most people say has a "green thumb" Last season I got a community garden with the Capitol roots. Unfortunately I found the pieces offered too small hence my decision for looking for a larger piece. I would like to get at least an acre which I feel would give me enough space to grow more food that would take care of not only my kitchen needs but also of my family and friends. If I got an acre I would divide it into four quarters and use the pieces in the following way: grow corn and regular beans on the first quarter; green grams, cow peas, and peanuts on the second quarter; ginger, garlic and tumeric on the third quarter and lastly a variety of vegetables on the fourth quarter. These are the vegatables I intend to grow: collard greens and kale, spinach, broccoli, tomatoes, zucchini and squash. Whatever remains after donations made to family and friends would be sold to defray the capital costs and day to day expenses.

I do not have a marketing plan yet and would like some help in creating one
