Farming Status and Plans

Years actively farming:

2-5

Description of farming status, plans, and practices:

Farm on my girlfriends family farm in Brookfield ny. We milk about 30 guernseys and have a 100 head cow/calf beef herd of south Devon's. I am a full time security forces officer in the air national guard in Syracuse and my girlfriend is a dental hygienist in cazenovia. We are looking to see what's out there for going off on our own. Would prefer to lease to own or rent in the start with plans of taking over after a certain period or when we are ready. We have some equipment (tractors, skid loader, tillage) and are extremely motivated.
