Description of farming status, plans, and practices:
I ran a small vegetable farm on leased land for five years. Recently, I've been working on other farms while looking for land. Last year, the Vermont Land Trust chose my proposal to purchase land. Because that fell through, I'm still searching. Ideally, I find something to purchase but am open to oppurtunities.

Direct marketing through CSA and farmers' markets. Perhaps local wholesale.

Some rooved space would be needed. A greenhouse would be a huge plus.

Water from a spring or well would be needed to wash and cool produce plus water . Irrigation water would ideally come from the same source.

I started out apprenticing, then working on farms. For five seasons, I rented land and managed a small veggie operation. Since then, I've managed fields, crews, and greenhouses at other farms.
