Farming Status and Plans
Description of farming status, plans, and practices:
I am looking for a suitable parcel of land, including with a dwelling, which in phase 1 I intend to convert into a model Eco-Cycle greenhouse with a closed local loop of recycling sewage waste. Large plant beds cleanse and take up nutrients in the wastewater, converting these into fruit and vegetables. The fruits and vegetable strains are intended to be from Italy. I would like this in proximity to families as such a green-house is known to give children who are autistic, tremendous relief from environmental pollutants. This public place will also afford us other opportunities to join with kindred spirits in activities such as Oryoki dining, adjacent therapies for autistic children such as an eco-aquarium, Japanese spa treatments. In phase 2 I am planning a model fish farm using the same technology and an R&D lab to benefit the community. I have identified the consultants and engineers and we have an estimate of what the conversion or construction could cost. These are established partners who are using the same construction engineering and technology across a swathe of establishments from residential to commercial. They can also help enable local providers. In the interest of full disclosure, I come from a family of the longest line of agriculturists of Punjab in India. And I am proud of the role they have played in keeping communities together. I am seeking to keep the tradition for my children and their children. I have spent a significant time of my childhood and youth on the farm and continue to remain plugged into developments of an economic nature. Coupled with my business acumen and work experience managing multi-million dollar programs for finance companies, I am confident we can give shape to our ideas to benefit more than just us.
Description of marketing method:
