Our organization is Propagate Group PBC. We are a farm management company looking to grow currant, chestnut, & black locust timber agroforestry under management in Columbia county. 

Description of marketing method:

Currants: Wholesale, fresh & frozen to supplements brands & juice brands. 
Chestnuts: Wholesale, direct to major metro area grocers. Dried chestnuts for flour.  
Black Locust: Outdoor decking & posts, small scale lumber mill.

The agroforestry system is designed as an alleycropping / silovpasture layout which is spaced for a pasture raised poultry/cattle operator, or a vegetable/grain farmer to farm / graze the rows.

Description of tenure options desired:

We have a range of agreements from which we can work with depending on the risk profile of the land owner. We can lease land on a long term basis or be paid to cultivate tree crops for the land owner looking to own the crop themselves.
