Farming Status and Plans

Description of farming status, plans, and practices:

Still working on solidifying a farm plan, but do intend for the farm to make up a portion of our income. Planning to raise some small livestock (poultry and hogs) with some crops, but our plans are evolving. Ideally we would like to find something in the Hudson Valley no more than three hours from NYC.

Onsite housing, Barns or other facilities for storage of equipment, livestock, and crops, Farm equipment, Water access, Fencing, Electrical Access

Description of infrastructure:

Ideally we would like to find something in the Hudson Valley no more than three hours from NYC. Need a water source (well or irrigation pond/stream). Would also like to find land with basic infrastructure (Barns, coops, etc.) in place. One non-negotiable, is that the farm has a livable house on the property.

Description of buildings required:

We would like to purchase a property that already had the basic infrastructure (Barns, coops, etc.) in place.
