Farming Status and Plans

Years actively farming:

Less than 2

Description of farming status, plans, and practices:

I have begun a small orchard operation with my husband on our two acre plot.  We would like to expand into stable subsitance livestock and more orchard and nursery operations.  We would also like to provide local schools with access to us as a fieldtrip for students to pick their own produce, learn about subsistance farming, and basic homesteading.  We are willing to assist schools free of charge.  I personally want to encourage a back to nature approach with the area youth and encourage more community involvement in agriculture.

Description of marketing method:

Local marketing/trading/networking with other growers/producers, willing to provide to local school districts
