Farming status, plans, and practices

I am currently the farm lead at a seed farm in Naples,NY.
I am experienced with tractor/machine and have 5 years experience on seed farms with one year on a veggie farm. I enjoy keeping sheep as well, and would love to incorporate them into the farm plan one day. Having a diversified veggie and flower operation is the goal, eventually disposing into contract seed growing. Organic farming is the way to go!

Farmland Needs

Infrastructure required

  • black outline house icon Farmer housing
  • Black outline of a water drop Water access

A reliable well or water storage would be ideal. On farm housing would be great. A place to store equipment and produce is necessary, but can be built if not already in place. Some infrastructure are less important to have, but it certainty would be nice.

Dreaming of my own farm one day, in turn, a rent to own or a lease is something i'm open to and excited about.
