Farming status, plans, and practices
We started Old Ford Farm in New Paltz, NY in 2008. We produce raw milk, veggies, eggs, pork, chicken, and turkey. We are certified by NY to sell raw milk. Our animals are all raised on pasture, and our veggies are grown organically. See our website for more on what we currently do: www.oldfordfarm.com . We are looking for a new property that better fits the needs of a grass-based dairy. We would like to stay in New Paltz or a surrounding town, and would consider any property with at least 50 acres of open farmland.

Primary crops
Primary livestock
We grow veggies for a CSA. We currently have 15 dairy cows and sell raw milk out of our farm store. We also raise beef, pigs, meat chickens, turkeys, and laying hens.
Marketing Method
Our milk, eggs, beef, pork, and chicken are sold out of our farm store. Veggies are sold through a CSA and turkeys are sold fresh at Thanksgiving.

Farmland Needs
Infrastructure required
We don't require any infrastructure to be currently in place. If there are no existing buildings we would need to build a barn for animal housing and a farm store.
Desired Tenure
We are open to a number of different arrangements, as long as long-term security on the land is guaranteed in some way.
