Curly Sprout

I bring a lot of passion, and organization, and I’d love the opportunity to help grow or expand a farm. My main interests are growing vegetables and fruits, cut flowers, and starting our own seedlings, with a focus on organic and regenerative practices as much as possible. I’d especially love to help build an on-site farm stand or market and find creative ways to bring people onto the farm. I’m continuing to take classes and learn more about farming, but I’m ready to get my hands dirty, bring ideas to the table, and help turn those ideas into something we can grow together.

Farming status, plans, and practices

My goal is to help build or expand a small farm operation focused on fruits, vegetables, cut flowers, herbs, and seedling production. I’m especially interested in growing from seed, improving soil health, and using organic and regenerative practices as much as possible. I’d like to be involved in the full process, from planning and planting through harvest and direct sales, with the possibility of adding chickens and other farm activities over time.

Farm Experience & Education

  • Farm internship/apprenticeship

My hands-on experience has mainly come from growing vegetables, herbs, flowers, and seedlings, along with planning and maintaining garden spaces including school gardens. I’ve also been taking classes and continuing my education in farming, soil health, and sustainable growing practices. I’m looking to keep building that experience through a hands-on farm partnership.

I also have experience with indoor house plants.

Primary livestock

My main focus would be fruits, vegetables, herbs, cut flowers, and seedling production. I’d also love to incorporate a small flock of chickens if the property and setup allow for it, but poultry wouldn’t be a requirement for me.

Desired Tenure

Tenure options desired

  • Business Partnership
  • Farm Management
  • Cooperative Model
  • Other Tenure Agreement

I’m most interested in a collaborative arrangement where I can help grow and manage the farm in exchange for a share in the success of the operation. I’m open to farm management, a cooperative model, or another flexible agreement that makes sense for both sides. Ideally, I’d like to build something long term rather than simply rent land.

Will this operation qualify an eligible landowner for an Agricultural Assessment?
