We are looking to focus on lavender production with flowers, mushrooms, and some market vegetables to support and add diversity. Also plan to have some on farm events.

Dor: Grew up homesteading, B.S. Geography (focused on food systems with permaculture design course), M.S. in Sustainable Management, experience with transforming vacant lots into large urban community gardens/farm.
Team of three people. One is interested in learning and farming full time and need to gain experience growing, but does have experience with marketing/graphic design, one is planing part time work on the business side as the booker keeper/finance person, and Dor is planning on part time farming and has experience growing in noncommercial contexts .

Ideally looking for land within 30-40mins of Binghamton, NY. Willing to build out a property to meet our need. It would be a bonus or ideal of there was some existing structures or housing for up to 3 adults (the team of owner-workers), an area for lavender and food processing for value added products, and wooded acres for hiking trails.
