Farming status, plans, and practices

Harlem and The Bronx are two vibrant communities with diverse needs and priorities, but both have some of the highest rates of poverty in the nation and have faced various health issues. Common health risks in these areas include obesity, diabetes, asthma, and heart disease, linked to poor access to healthy foods and a lack of physical activity. In addition, our farm's crops aim to increase knowledge and understanding of nutritious and healthy food options for women.
