Been involved with planting garlic since my high school days. Approaching retirement from my regular job in a few years and would like to expand the garlic farming to a larger scale (1-2 acres). Also interested in having a few bee hives on the property.
Farming practice will be an organic approach but not necessarily looking for certification at this point. I live in the Syracuse area and ideally looking for leasing farmland that is roughly 45 minutes or less from home.
