Farming status, plans, and practices

I currently own and operate Grassroots Farm, a regenerative grazing operation in Stone Ridge NY. We have a herd of 50 Devon/Herford beef cattle that we graze on leased land, where we use holistic management practices to build soil health and pasture productivity. Our practices are all organic, and focus on respecting both our herd and the land.  We produce high quality pasture raised beef for the community, running a meat CSA, and direct marketing wholes, halves, and quarters of beef to families in Ulster County.  We are currently seeking creative ways to expand our operation. We feel we would make a great partner to a landowner who is looking for an experienced grazier to enhance and beautify their land through a regenerative grazing operation, or another established farmer or business who is looking to form partnerships to expand their enterprises. We offer custom grazing, as well as property management and consulting, we are open to options, and feel we have a lot to offer in the way of knowledge, labor, and skills in regenerative grazing, animal husbandry, and holistic management techniques.
