My main goal is to build a productive homestead where I can grow much of my own food while earning part of my income from the farm. I plan to focus mainly on vegetables, fruit, flowers, and other small-scale crops, with the possibility of adding poultry or small livestock over time. I prefer simple, sustainable/regenerative farming methods and want to care for the land long-term.

I plan to grow a diverse mix of vegetables, herbs, berries, fruit trees, and cut flowers for home use and local sale. I would also like to keep laying hens and raise several batches of broiler chickens each year. As well as, possibly a small number of sheep or other livestock as the homestead develops.
Marketing Method
I plan to sell on a small local scale through farm stands, farmers markets, direct sales, and possibly a small CSA. The goal is supplemental farm income rather than a large commercial operation.

I am looking for property with housing suitable for year-round living, reliable water and electricity access, and enough usable ground for gardens, fruit trees, and a small homestead. Existing fencing, a shed, barn, or other farm storage would be helpful but is not essential.
Desired Tenure
I am open to purchasing a small farm (pending financing) or entering into a long-term lease with the right landowner. I am looking for a stable arrangement where I can invest time in improving the soil, establishing perennial crops, and building a long-term homestead.
