Farming status, plans, and practices

Terrace is in the initial stages of operation but we have a bold vision for our farm, as outlined in our investor/business plan.

---

Future Plans:
Our roadmap includes scaling our operations to meet growing demand, implementing geothermal heating systems, and expanding our product lines. We aim to make "The Farm" a model for sustainable agriculture, complete with educational programs and community involvement.

Farming Practices:

Regenerative & Permaculture Agriculture:
We employ regenerative agriculture & low till techniques to improve soil health, water quality, and local ecosystems. Our permaculture design mimics natural ecosystems, focusing on perennial plants and multi-layered systems, which not only yield more but also require less maintenance.

Organic Practices:
All our farming is 100% organic, free from synthetic pesticides and fertilizers. We rely on natural pest control and organic soil amendments to maintain a healthy, vibrant ecosystem.

AgTech Integration:
We leverage cutting-edge agricultural technology (AgTech) for data-driven farming. Sensors monitor soil health, climate conditions, and plant growth, enabling us to make real-time adjustments.

Passive Solar Greenhouse:
Our greenhouse uses passive solar design to capture and store heat, reducing our reliance on external energy sources. This allows us to extend our growing season and diversify our crop offerings.

Water Retention:
We've implemented water-saving techniques such as swales and rainwater harvesting. Our irrigation system is highly efficient, distributing water directly to plant roots and minimizing waste.

Geothermal Heating:
Plans are underway to integrate a geothermal heating system, which will use the Earth's natural heat to maintain optimal temperatures in our greenhouse year-round.
