Cornell Cooperative Extension Erie County

CCE Erie uses local experience and research-supported solutions in the pursuit of economic vitality, ecological sustainability and social well-being. Our educators design and deliver programs in Agriculture and Food Systems; 4-H Youth Development; Nutrition and Community Health; Environment and Natural Resources, Sustainable Energy and Climate Change; and Consumer and Economic Vitality. These programs address local needs and enable people, individually and collectively, to make sound decisions about their lives, businesses, and communities in our rapidly changing world.

As a Regional Navigator, CCE Erie supports new generation and beginning farmers in their search for land, and senior generation farmers in planning for transition. We facilitate connections between farmers and landowners through workshops, trainings, and one-on-one assistance to continue growing our farming community and stem the loss of farmland in our urban-edge county.
