Cornell Cooperative Extension (CCE-Ulster) can provide resources about ecological sustainability and beginning farming. They also provide many educational opportunities, including but not limited to: agriculture, youth development, health, food safety, and business planning.

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Ulster County has been a leader in providing technical assistance and training to farmers in the county since 1913. CCE-Ulster offers assistance and programming in/for: Beginning Farmers, New Landowners, Small Acreage/Urban Ag, Livestock Production, Pasture Management, Field Crops/Agronomy, Integrated Pest Management (IPM), Environmental Education, Disaster Preparedness, and Climate Change.
