LifeSource Systems (LSS) mission is to lead Inter-generational families to healthy lifestyles, serving African Americans (AA) in the 14211, 14204, and 14209 zip codes in Buffalo NY through food systems education such as farming, nutrition, community and economic development. Inter-generational families are taught to take charge of their mental, physical, and emotional health. Inter-generational families work together to create sustainable healthy lifestyle changes that will reduce the onset of sickness and disease.

As Regional Navigator LSS will work in partnership with other organizations in the greater Buffalo area to create a program to educate and train a group of BIPOC farmers and a group of food processors. This group will start a Farmers Coop to grow on 15 to 20 acres of land that will be either purchased or leased for at least 5 years. Our goal is to train BIPOC farmers & distributors from New York State to grow produce at market scale with the intention of scaling up their operation and recruiting other BIPOC farmers to secure local & state procurement contracts.
