Wally Farms is a little over 1000 acres that crosses Hillsdale, Ancram, and Taghanik in Columbia County. It's 90% forested with 15 open fields making up the remaining acreage.
We have a greenhouse, head house, wash/pack facility, walk-in coolers, permanent livestock fencing, deer fencing, water, electric, and shared equipment available to our tenants.
Wally Farms is currently seeking proposals for farm businesses to join for the 2026 season. We offer land, shared equipment, shared infrastructure, utilities, professional development, and more to successful applicants to our farm business accelerator. Our process involves a (virtual or in-person) meeting, farm visit, online application, and outside application review (paired with internal review).
We do not charge for land access but do supply all with leases and use agreements.
Ideally looking for a CSA enterprise in need of a home, as well as a small ruminant operation (sheep or goats).
Currently, we're home to El Alimento (seed farm), From Below Farm (pastured poultry), Far Out Container Farm (hydroponic greens and value added), Apis Apotheca (farm to facial botanical skin care), Carbon Sponge Project (sorghum), and Overstory Goods (forest farmed mushrooms made into Biome Broth).
